Back in 1957 the first D.H. Russell Original Design belt knife was finally elevated from being made on a custom basis into the production stage.  As many collectors know and possess in their collection, the design became a registered trademark in 1958. Each blade of the Original Design was stamped with RD 1958 for the next 20 years.  Now 50 years later they are still being manufactured by the same family in the same town in the same traditional way.  As busy as things are, due to the great amount of loyal customers asking for an anniversary knife, the family is proud to finally introduce this beautiful variation of the original.

This anniversary version will be available for a limited time only. Even though Grohmann Knives are classified as production knives, there can be as few as two craftsmen creating your knife from start to finish in as many as 53 steps.  Beautifully figured exhibition grade Arizona Ironwood scales have been chosen for their rich colours and diversity.
